With 40-plus years of construction development and management experience, Rick has successfully captured work and led project teams in every market sector Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmvoperates within.\u00a0Rick has been with Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmvfor over 20 years and has been instrumental\u00a0in the development and growth of the estimating department, special projects, concrete services, BIM, building groups, the target market group, and the community outreach program. He\u00a0fosters relationships with our subcontractors, local communities, business organizations, and agencies in the Southern California region.<\/p>\n
As the Regional Community Relations Director, Rick\u00a0is responsible for the overall management of SoCal’s outreach programs for small, local, disadvantaged, and veteran-owned business enterprises. This includes\u00a0the development and implementation of promotional and educational strategies.\u00a0In 1988, Rick received his State of California General Contractor license. Most recently in 2021, he completed the American Contract Compliance Association’s Master of Contract Compliance (MCA) certification program through Morgan State University.<\/p>\n

The GLAAACC was established in 1991 by a group of business owners and executives who\u00a0envisioned an organization that would serve\u00a0as an advocate for and\u00a0promote\u00a0African American-owned enterprises’\u00a0growth and expansion into the international arena. The organization held its first Economic Award Dinner two years later in 1993. The GLAAACC provides a variety of programs and services and is committed to the development of new African American business leaders.
